Hello, and welcome. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Studio Simmons.

As a lifelong Oklahoma resident, creativity has always been at the heart of who I am. From an early age, I found myself drawn to art, design, and anything that challenged my imagination. In fact, as a senior in high school, I wrote my career research paper on becoming a designer. Looking back now, it feels as though I was already discovering the path I was meant to follow.

After graduation, I joined my family’s brick and stone business, where I began working closely with homeowners embarking on one of the most exciting chapters of their lives—building a home. Whether helping them select materials, calculate quantities, or make design decisions, I quickly learned that every project starts with a vision, and every detail matters.

In 2007, I was recruited into the swimming pool and outdoor living industry. It was a completely new world for me, but one I embraced wholeheartedly. What began as an opportunity soon became a passion, and over the years I’ve been fortunate to gain invaluable experience designing and overseeing hundreds of custom outdoor environments.

For nearly 20 years, I’ve guided homeowners from the earliest concepts through construction and completion. Every project is unique, but my approach remains the same: listen first, design with intention, and never lose sight of the people who will ultimately call that space their own.

I believe exceptional design is about far more than creating something beautiful. It’s about understanding how a family wants to live. It’s about creating spaces that encourage connection, inspire relaxation, and become the setting for life’s most meaningful moments.

Whether it’s morning coffee by the pool, evenings around the fire, or children making memories that will last a lifetime, those experiences are what inspire every decision I make throughout the design process.

One of the greatest privileges of my career is watching an empty backyard transform into a place that feels timeless, welcoming, and deeply personal. Knowing that my work becomes part of my clients’ everyday lives is both humbling and incredibly rewarding.

At Studio Simmons, every project begins with a blank canvas, but it never ends there. My goal is to thoughtfully blend architecture, landscape, and lifestyle into an outdoor environment that feels like it has always belonged—one that reflects your home, your personality, and the way you want to live.

I also believe that great relationships are just as important as great design. Many of my clients become lifelong friends, and I consider that one of the greatest compliments I could ever receive. Earning your trust throughout the process is every bit as important to me as delivering an exceptional final result.
